eBridge - Essential Maintenance 06:00 until 08:00 on Tuesday 13th December 2011

The ICT Department will be carrying out essential maintenance on the eBridge servers between 06:00 and 08:00 on the morning of Tuesday the 13th of December.  The work will involve rationalising the configuration of the disk storage and making the eBridge database available through a cluster of servers.  This work  will improve resilience in the event of future hardware failure and improve the performance of the eBridge system as a whole.   Unfortunately, while this work is underway, the eBridge system will be unavailable.  Staff and students are requested to save any work and log out of eBridge before 06:00 AM on the 13th of December.  The work is expected to take around two hours and the eBridge system will therefore be back online by 08:00 AM.
