The University is undertaking a review of its virtual learning environment 'eBridge' as part of the Virtual Campus initiative. Turnitin student receipts for work
It appears that in most cases Turnitin is not currently sending eMail receipts to students. Turnitin expect to fix this problem with their next upgrade on February 26th.

Digitaltexts
We are currently working to solve problems with Digitaltexts. Links from eBridge to this service may be affected. 29 November 2013

eBridge issues
ICTD have informed us that the majority of issues have now been resolved. They are still fixing a number of sites which had been customised from the standard menu and staff will be kept updated on that work.

eBridge Shutdown - 19/11/12
There will be an eBridge shutdown between 07:30 and 08:30 on Monday 19th November. This for essential maintenance on eBridge servers which will also deliver enhanced funtionality to the Turnitin integration, further details of which can be found here. Please save any work you may be doing before you logout at 07:30

Users may experience a delay when trying to log in or out of  eBridge during the above times - there will be an update to the sakai_session tables which means the tables are locked, thus causing the delay.  However, this should not affect anyone doing any work whilst already logged into eBridge.

eBridge has been updated
On Monday 5 September eBridge was upgraded from version 2.6 to 2.8. 

The upgrade, the first major upgrade for two years, includes new features to some of the tools making them easier to use. The upgrade also resolved some of the feature requests submitted to the eLearning Team over the past few months and also incorporates the University's Corporate Identity.

eBridge Upgrade
Monday 5th September 2011

eBridge will not be available from midnight on Sunday 4th Septemer due to an upgrade from version 2.6 to 2.8.  It is expected that eBridge will be back online at 8am on Tuesday 6th September.

The upgrade, which is the first major upgrade for two years, includes new features to some of the tools making them easier to use. Anyone experiencing problems using Webdav can use Cyberduck to upload multiple documents into their eBridge site.  Click here for instructions for installing and using cyberduck.

WebDav and Windows 7

It has come to our attention that WebDav appears to be working intermittently for those using Windows  7.  We are looking into this issue and hope to offer a solution in due course.

eBridge will be unavailable for approximately 10 minutes on the above date and time due to a firmware upgrade on eBridge's load balancer. Please make sure you have logged out by 7:45am, saving any work you have been doing before you logout.  The maintenance will take approximately 10 minutes.  Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
